I started to study at RMIT University in 2024, studying for a Bachelor of Engineering (Aerospace Engineering).
To date (Feb 2026) I have completed 50% of my units of study. In my spare time, I have been doing independent “experiments” side tangents that are vaguely related to my courses or things I have learned. This involves the following:
- Learning FreeCAD and cfdof
- Experimentation with nozzles and nozzle flow in 2D and 3D
- Implementing a practical calculator in C++ using OpenMP
- Designing a model of Sojourner with plans to manufacture a functioning mostly 3D printed model
- This will hopefully culminate in a derived version of Sojourner
- Designing a model CubeSat, following NASA CSLI information and the CDS, and information available on the NASA S3VI
- Being a part-time member of the RMIT Satellite Club
